The African American Folklorist invites scholars, artists, musicians, and cultural practitioners to submit work for our upcoming Black Ethnomusicology issue. 🎶 Audio or video recordings with contextual commentary

This issue aims to center Black voices and highlight the deep cultural knowledge embedded in Black musical expression—from spirituals to hip hop, jazz to jùjú, and everything in between.
